Our client globally handles packaging, material handling, transportation, and warehouses while adopting different quality control measures and checks. In order to optimize their procurement and manufacturing processes, they wanted to implement a quality management module.
Initially, they intended to replace their current ERP system, Dynamics NAV, with a different vendor, but after discussing their project requirements with us, they decided to integrate the Quality Control Module into their Navision environment.
Following our initial step of evaluating their requirements, we created a Quality Control module that includes an approval system as well as the ability to produce an automatic buy return order for things that must be returned to the vendor.
Now, the system recommends the total number of quantities of products based on their criteria of items- that were accepted, accepted with conditions, rejected, or returned. Once these items are posted, they will be automatically transported to their correct locations.
An inspection datasheet will be prepared as soon as the material is received for quality control, allowing us to compare the actual values to the inspection criteria.
